Join us in our UPS Healthcare division, where we operate in the fast-paced pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market. In this permanent role, you’ll help us ship to businesses and customers around the globe from our centres in all Europe.

As our Healthcare F&A Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for all day-to-day financial affairs for UPS Healthcare business unit. And you’ll enjoy the chance to inspire the future of our F&A services.

What’s in your role?

  • Serving as liaison between global accounting users and application developers to deliver financial systems solution projects.
  • Being part of the F&A Vision and Transformation program, which is focused on standardizing Record-to-Report business processes and implementing technology solutions for UPS’ global accounting centers.
  • Being responsible for performing project activities such as project management, business analysis, policies & procedures, user acceptance testing, user training, change management, production migration, and production support.
  • Coordinating project activities involving users and I.T. team members outside of the department.
  • Performing business analysis by gathering, analyzing, documenting, reviewing, and communicating business needs/requirements between users and application developers.
  • Performing current state analysis of financial systems and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing global standards and process efficiencies within the global Shared Services environment.
  • Creating and submitting change requests to track the requirement development process.
  • Analysing business requirements to determine validity and feasibility and assessing requested information to ensure alignment with business needs, objectives, and practices.
  • Performing UAT by planning and executing testing scenarios to verify system enhancements meet user requirements.

What’s in your activities?

  • Develops plans that balance details with the big picture, adapts level of details required for a given audience.
  • Manages projects through complete project lifecycle including Initiation, Feasibility, Analysis, Execution and Closeout phases.
  • Schedules and facilities project meetings to discuss project details.
  • Captures and follows up on project issues and action items to ensure completion of project tasks.
  • Documents and communicates business process and system impacts changes resulting from system enhancements.
  • Gathers and documents business & functional requirements.
  • Creates system diagrams and business process flows to document current and future state solutions.
  • Develops test scenarios to validate functionality and enhancements of systems.
  • Executes test scenarios to ensure systems are bulti according to requirements.
  • Records testing defects and coordinates with users and developers to resolve issues.
  • Assesses user training needs and coordinates change management and training activities.
  • Creates training material and delivers training users.

What does it take to keep one of the world’s biggest and best shipping and logistics companies running as part of our UPS Healthcare division?

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or comparable. An MBA is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly learn internal and external systems.
  • Ability to Capture and document specific and accurate information, learning and completing work thoroughly, supplying appropriate details when requested and maintaining organized files.
  • Understanding of technology used by the company.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Supervisory experience - nice to have
  • Experience with enterprise finance and accounting systems – Preferred
  • Experience with business analysis – Preferred
  • Experience with Project Management - Preferred
