Solution, Design & Implementation - Supervisor
SOLDI (Solution, Design and Implementation) is part of Customer Solutions (CS) belonging to Sales & Solutions.
The Supervisor in the practice area Industrial Engineering (IE) serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop, lead, and implement operational CS products and customized solutions for customers within the Europe Region.
The very rich role profile involves the research, evaluation, and delivery of business cases for new product developments whilst leading projects and teams virtually.
The role requires close collaboration with CS Customer Facing on customer opportunities to gain, retain and grow UPS business through solutions that deliver customer value.
The SOLDI Supervisor communicates and collaborates with other SOLDI areas, other Solution groups, Operations, IE, Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management.
The SOLDI IE Supervisor may lead a SME team.
Responsibilities:
Manage projects, implementation and support product developments
Solve complex customer problems by designing and implementing solutions
Develop, lead and implement complex projects to support new business opportunities by working region wide in cross–functional teams
CS product owner for specific CS products, monitoring and supporting to ensure these are maintained and operate effectively
Seek innovative enhancements and continuous improvements within customer solutions products and projects to develop and grow the business
Provide subject matter expertise to increase Customer Solutions knowledge and understanding
Analyze data and interpret the results to make recommendations for solutions and evaluate solutions prior to implementation
Lead a remote team of SMEs
Qualifications:
University degree/diploma or international equivalent - preferred (Degree in Logistics or Business would be a surplus)
Very strong verbal and written skills in English
Experience in database management, Supply Chain Logistics, or network modeling – Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Consulting experience in the Supply Chain industry - Preferred
Location is flexible
