Job Description:

Aviation Security Cargo Screening Team Leader

Responsible for a small group of employees, ensuring compliance and management of the 17:00pm-01:00am shift Monday-Friday (flexibility required).

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare and prioritize work assignment for the team
• Delegate work assignments
• Monitor performance and adherence to aviation security compliance of the shift and reassign duties as appropriate
• Ensure service is maintained within specified deadlines
• Respond to changing priorities as dictated by security and operational compliance priorities
• Create and maintain daily reports regarding compliance and performance targets
• Play an active role in the Employee Relations of your team and cross-functional cooperation
• Ad hoc duties as required to support the rest of the management team
• Promotion of positive security culture

Your skills:

• Current Cargo Operative (CO) or Cargo Operative Screener (COS) preferred, but full training can be provided
• Understanding of Aviation Security processes and procedures
• Understanding of CAA SCD Cargo Chapters 6 and 11
• Excellent communication skills
• Well organized and ability to prioritize
• Leadership and motivational skills
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude

5 year background check, including Criminal Records Check will be required.
