“We treat every package as a patient.” Nancy has come a long way since joining us in our Sales Academy. She’s completed her Masters while having two children, learnt to explore a world beyond her comfort zone and climbed the ranks to manage an entire portfolio of healthcare customer data – covering the whole of the UK. It’s a lot of responsibility, but she takes it all in her stride. “In my position, I look at things differently, put myself in the shoes of the healthcare provider and try to come up with a creative solution.” There for the team “For Nancy, her team means a lot, even if they’re not based in the same country. The diversity and creativity that runs through the team gives Nancy a sense of freedom, and security. “My plan for the future is to expand the team. There is a huge potential and there is a need in the market.” Ladder to leadership “I joined as a Trainee Account Executive, and after a year, I now have a specialised role. You don't have to be a manager to get promoted. If you give 110%, in a few years you could be in a leadership role.”

“Everyone is helpful, we are all in the same boat.” Aniko sees her UPS team has her family, a family that supports each other and work together to get a good job done. “I had some personal issues and my manager was there to help me, I will never forget it.” It’s this attitude of understanding that Aniko loves. “You need focus, it’s fast paced and you need to be unafraid to work. There are lots of things to do, but you’re not alone, you are part of a big team.” A family that’s there for your family Aniko enjoys the challenges of the job, but also the rewards. “The salary and the hours are great. I have a son and the hours are perfect for me.” Staying up to date But it’s not all about the day to day for Aniko. The future means a lot and so training and development is essential. “UPS always provides trainings, safety is one of them. On top of that, my management is always looking to help me improve my skills and be the best I can be.”
