Marketing Supervisor

We are UPS, the world's largest package delivery company. We are looking for a full time Business Planning Supervisor to join our team based in Lotus Park, Staines-upon-Thames, West London. This is a temporary management position with 12-month fixed contract.

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketeer with a passion for business performance and data analysis to join a pivotal team at the heart of the UK, Nordics, and Ireland Business Planning Strategy. The right candidate will have the opportunity to influence and drive key aspects of the company’s business strategy, formulate insights and situational assessments for high-level decision makers with support of a business planning specialists reporting directly to them.

What you’ll do:

  • Business Planning Supervisor’s team will be responsible for the planning and forecasting processes within the marketing department as well as regular reporting and ad hoc business performance analyses.

  • The Business Planning Supervisor will propose, supervise, and lead tactical initiatives with the main objective of delivering high quality volume and revenue planning/forecasting, analyzing key performance metrics, identifying key areas of improvement and impact the company’s bottom line positively.

  • The role involves drawing, articulating and visualizing insights as well as presenting them in front of upper management. They will provide support and deliverables for high level business reviews and presentations.

  • The right candidate will join a team of passionate marketeers in a multi-cultural environment and will have the ambition to constantly challenge themselves (as well as the team) to drive growth, learn and take on career advancement opportunities.

What you’ll need:

  • · Competence in data analysis and formulating, visualizing, and presenting actionable insights and business performance results to support top management decision making.
  • · Advanced command of data tools and applications: MS Office: advanced Excel, Access, Power Point, Power BI are a must, SQL knowledge and skills with other relationship databases are welcome.
  • · Minimum 2-5 years Marketing or Finance experience (preferably business planning, reporting, forecasting, revenue management backgrounds)
  • · Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s preferred with a business related major.
  • · Hands on experience in people management and development
  • · Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive to achieve deadlines in a target driven environment.
  • · Quality drive; eye for detail
  • · Good communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
  • · Fluency in English
