Your Tasks

Working on a weekly, split shift rotation from 6:30am to 3:00pm and 2:45pm to 11:15pm, you will:

• Prepare trailers for MOT inspection
• Respond to daily trailer condition reports supplied by drivers
• Respond quickly to break-down calls
• Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records and control stock
• Work with your fellow mechanics to achieve maintenance targets swiftly, safely and reliably

Your Skills

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years
• An LGV Class 1 licence would be a bonus but isn't essential
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics
• Experience working with commercial vehicles, including LGVs
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Initiative, planning skills and a flexible, enthusiastic approach
